Helen Saunders Garden Design is an award-winning studio based in Epsom, Surrey, specialising in creating gardens that connect people with nature. With a background in Fine Art and a Master’s from Central Saint Martins, Helen brings a unique blend of creativity and ecological awareness to her work.

Her gardens are celebrated for their flow, atmosphere, and harmonious use of composition, colour, and texture. Whether designing intimate private retreats or expansive landscapes, Helen crafts spaces that are personal, authentic, and deeply rooted in their surroundings. She draws inspiration from wild landscapes, local architecture, and plant communities to deliver designs that feel natural and timeless.

Since training at the London College of Garden Design and graduating with Distinction, Helen has won Society of Garden Designers (SGD) awards and created projects recognised for their detail, creative flair, and ability to transform outdoor spaces into sanctuaries. Sustainability is at the heart of her approach, with a strong commitment to reusing and recycling materials wherever possible.
