Cityscapers

CITYSCAPERS was founded in 2006 by Nigel Gomme, a designer with over 25 years horticultural experience and a reputation for ambitious and unconventional landscape designs. “The concept of CITYSCAPERS is to create gardens that positively affect mood. We jokingly refer to our gardens as mind-altering or life enhancing – but only half-jokingly. There’s rapture in calm moments of contemplation of a leaf or sunlight slanting through a tree canopy. We try to build those experiences into our gardens.” In 2013, CITYSCAPERS were commissioned by Coca Cola to design a roof garden for their new European HQ. Our proposal – to make the garden both beautiful and edible – was controversial but won plaudits including a BALI National Landscape Award – Principal Winner for Green Roof Installations & Roof Gardens 2014. The majority of our work is private residential. We are fortunate to have won the support of private clients, architects, developers and property companies who like our work and keep coming back to us with new projects.
