Classic Margarita Recipe (1:1:1 Ratio – as seen in our reel)

This version of the classic margarita uses equal parts of tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. It’s tangier, slightly lighter on alcohol, and perfect for summer sipping.

Margarita Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz / 45 ml tequila
  • 1.5 oz / 45 ml triple sec (or Cointreau)
  • 1.5 oz / 45 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Coarse salt, for the rim
  • Lime wedge, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in coarse salt.
  2. Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and a handful of ice to a shaker.
  3. Shake well for 15–20 seconds.
  4. Strain into a rocks or margarita glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge or dried lime wheel.
